Walk With<\/span> Me<\/span><\/h1>\n

With funding from the Ministry of Justice Police and Crime Commissioner\u00a0 <\/span>Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>We undertake one to one and groups. Working at a place where they feel most safe.\u00a0 <\/span>Work is undertaken by highly experienced outreach workers.\u00a0 <\/span>The aims and objectives of the work use the personal centred approach to raise knowledge and help victims change to survivors through the development of confidence, emotional well-being and understanding of cultural needs.<\/p>\n

We also work with other services to enable them to\u00a0<\/span><\/span> promote and encouraged women and girls who are victims and survivors of domestic violence, abuse, and control, from the Gypsy, Traveller and Romany communities living in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Development of working good practice<\/b><\/p>\n

Receiving funding by the ROSA Stand With Us, we are now in the desirable positions of being able to develop and refine out policies and procedures, together with time developing our good practice of working and sharing this with others.<\/b><\/p>\n

A BIG thank-you to services that have promoted and encouraged participation of women and girls who are survivors of domestic violence, abuse, and control to contact us.\u00a0 <\/span>Also to those services that we have been able to develop positive relationships including protocol of referring, between services, which are both informative and culturally competent and sensitive to the needs of the service user.<\/b><\/p>\n

As many of you are aware, we run session in several ways, by closed Facebook groups, one to one work on phones . \u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\n

The work is undertaken in groups or one to one, in a format, time and if needed a venue of choice by those taking part.\u00a0 <\/span>A warm and friendly welcomes all.\u00a0 <\/span>Literacy and\/or numeracy is no barrier.<\/b><\/p>\n

Talk to me<\/b><\/span><\/h1>\n

One Voice for Travellers Limited \u2013 Talk to me project<\/b><\/p>\n

One Voice 4 Travellers Limited, a community based charity, are proud to announce that having received funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, we have been able to run a National Domestic Abuse Reporting service\u00a0 <\/span>specifically for the Gypsy Traveller and Roma community.\u00a0 <\/span>This project will allow reporting domestic violence, and abuse data base to be set up.\u00a0 <\/span>This project will build on that valuable work on a national level by working in partnership with survivors, and established partners supporting GTR women and girls across England.\u00a0 <\/span>We are able to support women and girls from the GTR communities in a culturally.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
