Description
What your money will enable us to do.
(please note this is an indication and not a quotations of work, specific project may vary due to the intensity of work and outcomes)
£5 will enable one of our volunteers to be within the Gypsy, Traveller, Romany and Roma community to promote our work for one hour.
£10 enables us to have volunteers and outreach workers engaging with Gypsy, Traveller, Romany and Roma community to build an understanding of Domestic violence, Domestic abuse and cohesion and control. for one hour
£20 Enables our work in the community together with support into mainstream service provision. It also enables us to engage with mainstream services to disseminate their service and how to access within the Gypsy, Traveller, Romany and Roma community for one hour.
£40 Enables us to work with community members on a one to one or family situation to identify the situation in terms of violence within the home and support to access mainstream services for two hours
£80 Enables engagement and development work with family or one to one to find the root course of the violence and support to access main steam service. Plus encouragement and support to report the incident using IDVA reporting system for two hours
£160 Enables us to engage and develop work with one to one, families and groups from the Gypsy, Traveller Romany and Roma communities to develop an understanding of what DV/DA and cohesion and control is and how it affects individuals. Access to a programme of work with us spanning four 2hourly weeks intervention. Together with support to access services and report incidences using IDVA reporting system.
£320 Enables us to engage and develop family and group work which consist of a 2hour six weekly programme of knowledge development and support for those attending. This also enables us to work with service providers to develop their cultural competency of engagement with GTR community. To sit on various forums and be part of forums to develop mainstream services knowledge of the situation for GTR and encourage partnership working for the most beneficial outcomes.
